• Slope stability: landslides, rock deformations,weathering of granites, creeping slopes;geological hazards: monitoring, assessment, mapping (incl. GIS); soil and rock mechanics
• Research areas in Bulgaria:
  • Neogene grabens in SW Bulgaria: geological hazards - field studies, mapping, monitoring;
  • World Heritage monuments affected by geological hazards ;
  • Deep-seated landslides in East Rhodope area and Black Sea coast
• Published 70 scientific articles on Engineering Geology involving mentioned above scientific fields.
